Finding Happiness: Tangled Webs

We are blessed with one journey and throughout our path we encounter roadblocks that sometimes seem impossible to get over. We let these roadblocks wear and tear at our beings and then we notice that the affects start bleeding out into other aspects of our lives. We begin to unravel, getting tangled in a complicated web, not knowing where it began and where it will end, somehow and somewhere in between forgetting who we are and not liking who we have become. The chain reaction can go unnoticed and when we wonder why we are not happy it is difficult to pinpoint the source.

We may not have the power to change what situations we find ourselves in however, we can alter the way we respond to them and we can try our best not to allow negativity affect the core of who we are. Learning to take life one day at a time and trying to eliminate the worry of the future will ease anxiety. So, untangle the web you have woven. Take some time by yourself to reflect and meditate to calm your soul.Ā I hope this helpsĀ youĀ feel a little less heavy and a littleĀ freer.

Jill your words are so true for me right now. Thanks for the reminder that taking time for ourselves is so important. I have given some of this advice to others but I guess I needed to hear it from someone else.

Wise words at a very appropriate time in my life. New job, new boss stressing me out to the max. Will refer to your blog often in order to live a better more fulfilled life. Thank you for calming troubled waters and helping me to find my zen. Cheryl
