Los Liones hiking trail located in the Pacific Palisades, CA is an easy, narrow and winding trail with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. This is a great beginner path or one for those who want to enjoy beautiful ocean views. The trail officially ends at the clearing where you will see some benches. This is an idyllic spot to stop and take in the beautiful landscape. Should you want to continue hiking the trail gets more challenging as the terrain inclines. I enjoy hiking up for two miles and then I turn around and head back for a total 4 mile out and back hike.

If you do decide to continue to the connecting trail, the higher elevation rewards you with views of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean with a great vantage point. On a clear day you can see out to Catalina Island. Lucky for us last time we hiked Los Liones we had a clear day and perfectly cool temperatures making for an enjoyable hike!
