Organic Almond Milk

Why buy store bought almond milk when you can make it at home with simple ingredients: almonds and water plus a little flavor if you like. So kick all those fillers to the curb and make real simple almond milk with real ingredients.

Servings 5 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Organic, Raw & Unsalted Almonds
  • 7 cups Filtered Water
  • 2.5 tspn Organic Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Put two cups organic, raw and unsalted almonds in a tupperware with 3 cups of filtered water. Cover with the lid and let the bowl sit out on the counter for 8 hours. If you leave it a few hours longer it is ok.

  2. Strain and rinse the almonds.

  3. Return the almonds to the tupperware bowl. Add 4 cups filtered water.

  4. Scoop equal parts almonds and water into a juicer.

  5. After you have juiced all the almonds and water mixture you can add flavoring if you please. My favorite is organic vanilla extract. Use 1 teaspoon for every two cups.

  6. Almond milk will stay good for three days in the fridge
