Self Care Saturdays

Self care Saturdays are becoming a real thing over here! Week days are busy for most of us and I’m finding that I’m overlooking squeezing some relaxing time in for myself. Anyone else feeling the same?

Typically, it’s the work week that has me feeling exhausted but right now as a mom with a newborn the baby comes first, and relaxing is just a dream! Come Saturday when I have my hubs to help I carve out some much needed down time.

An Epsom Salt Bath with a good mud mask followed by stretching or yoga is helping loosen my muscles, rest my mind and detox my skin. I am also loving 10-15 minutes of traction to release the pressure between my vertebrae. If I need a good self-massage I stand with my back to the wall and put a tennis ball where my knots are and give the ball a good roll to break up trigger points. I finish with a matcha tea for the perfect mix of Zen energy to get me integrated back into my busy day!
